In this article, three directors of healthcare institutions tell how they have tackled this and give advice to colleagues. Is your institution already preparing for eTransfer and opening up to a PBM?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Data exchange between clients and healthcare professionals, healthcare professionals among themselves and long-term and curative care is not always electronic yet. The grant programme InZicht aims to accelerate safe and unambiguous electronic data exchange.<\/p>\n<p>After a successful pilot eOverdracht with four institutions from Noord-Holland Noord, the Netherlands, eight institutions are now participating in the InZicht II programme. With this partnership, we realise eTransfer and access to PBL for the NHN region for two hospitals and six VVT institutions.<\/p>\n<p>From 2023, the Electronic Data Exchange in Healthcare Act (Wet Elektronische gegevensuitwisseling in de zorg, Wegiz, in Dutch) will come into force, obliging institutions to digitally transfer patient data.
