NLdoet is the largest volunteering event in the Netherlands, organized by the Oranje Fonds. Every year in March, thousands of volunteer projects are set up across the country. This provides people with the opportunity to actively contribute to their community and make a difference in the lives of others. On Friday, 8 employees of Supply Value dedicated their time to help the community by assisting Kinderboerderij de Brink (a children’s farm).
The original plan was to build a pergola, but due to heavy snowfall, this plan had to be adjusted. The day began with digging and constructing the pergola, but due to heavy rain, it was not feasible to lay electricity. As an alternative, our volunteers built birdhouses indoors and drilled holes in trees to help bees lay their eggs. As a B-Corp, Supply Value values contributing to a better world, and this activity aligns well with this mission.
This month is dedicated to B-Corp. It is an important period where at Supply Value, we aim to showcase how we contribute to the world and how we strive to go the extra mile. For us, the B-Corp certification is a recognition of our hard work in sustainability and social responsibility. Through this certification, we take a significant step towards increasing our positive impact on society.
