Daan Dijkstra

With a background in BSc Sociology, Premaster Economics, MSc Business Development and Entrepreneurship and a year on the board at Enactus Utrecht, I developed a passion for sustainable and social entrepreneurship and how organisations can best tackle change management tasks/transitions, putting people first and making an impact together. In my search for an organisation that aligned with these values, I found Supply Value. Entrepreneurship is central to Supply Value, and as a Supply Value employee, you can help build the strategy of your business unit from the outset, and there are many opportunities to contribute internally. I have a wide range of interests and find it important to continue to develop myself in many areas. At Supply Value, I have the opportunity to gain consultancy experience at many different interesting companies, in addition to training and opportunities for personal development. Since 2023, I have gained experience at Supply Value at the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management, the Ministry of Economic Affairs (DICTU), the Judicial Institutions Service, Topgeschenken and in my current role as programme coordinator at ProRail. I work in the Supply Chain & Operations business unit and deal with strategic, operational, and change management issues.

Finally, what really attracts me to Supply Value is its sustainable nature, because it is one of the few consultancy firms that is B-Corp certified. I think it is important to add value to organisations and do the right thing at the same time. Supply Value fulfils this desire for me, and I get to do this with lots of fun and ambitious colleagues. This ambitious atmosphere is reflected in the results, with Supply Value winning the FD Gazelle Award for three years running, making it one of the fastest-growing companies in the Netherlands.Outside of work, you can find me on the football pitch, tennis court or on a ski slope in Austria!
