“Many successful procurement processes have a long lead time,” says Jeroen Hulsman, Director of Development & Learning at Nevi. “Due to market developments, many clients in public sector organizations need much more speed.”

“Preparing a tender is a complex and time-consuming process that can often take up to nine months. At Supply Value, we are convinced that it can be done faster,” said Menno van Drunen, general manager of Supply Value. “By approaching the process differently, it is possible to reduce the lead time to 10 days.”

“From their focus on translating strategy into concrete results by working together, Supply Value has developed a method to shorten procurement and tendering processes,” continued Jeroen. “We are therefore pleased to be working with them, to develop the training course ‘Tender in 10 days,’ which teaches procurement professionals how to significantly accelerate procurement processes through the proven Value Sprint method.”

Menno: “With this method, it is possible to reduce the lead time of preparation to 10 days. The approach helps to make decisions faster, spend available time more efficiently and gives 100% focus. A tender using the Value Sprint method differs from a regular procurement process in three areas:

  • Deployment of a dedicated team with appropriate representation from within the organization, keeping lines of communication short;
  • Planned decision moments for decision-makers well in advance to avoid long lead times on agreements;
  • Requirements and wishes are quickly identified.
