Since our inception in 2007, sustainable and social entrepreneurship has been at the core of how Supply Value conducts business. In order to assess our true standing and identify areas for improvement, we have undergone the B Corp assessment over the past few months, resulting in a score of 112 points (an average company typically scores 51 points). With this, we have comfortably achieved our B Corp certification and have been rated as “excellent” according to B Corp standards.
We are incredibly proud to join more than 4,400 other B Corp companies worldwide (including nearly 150 in the Netherlands) in working hard to address social and environmental challenges.
A B Corp is a ‘Benefit Corporation’ that demonstrates how a company can make a positive impact while still being commercially successful. B Corps contribute to society in the areas of governance, employees, community, environment, and customers. At Supply Value, we fulfill this commitment by:
- Implementing sustainability measures in our projects for clients wherever possible.
- Making responsible choices in our own business operations.
- Donating 1% of our profits and 1% of our time to charitable causes, providing free advice, participating in sports events for charity, and engaging in hands-on projects.
Becoming a B Corp is not a static achievement; in three years, we will undergo recertification, and our ambition is to significantly improve our score. The B Corp assessment will guide us in achieving that goal.
