At Supply Value, you will have the opportunity, under the guidance of experienced consultants, to research complex logistics network issues within a leading international organisation. Think about themes such as electrification, zero-emission zones, nearshoring and changing trade flows. You will help quantify these and translate them into smart models that really make a difference.

The Assignment

As a graduate student within our Analytics & Modelling team, you will work on designing a quantitative model that contributes to the optimisation of logistics networks. You will analyse relevant data, investigate current developments in the logistics sector and develop models that help organisations make better strategic choices.

You will contribute to the further development of our internal toolset and will have the opportunity to link theory and practice in a professional environment where your research is actually used.

Your Profile

Must-have

You are pursuing an MSc degree at the intersection of logistics and data/mathematics, such as:
- Technical Business Administration / Industrial Engineering & Management
- Supply Chain Management (with data-oriented subjects)
- Operations Research
- Data Science / Business Analytics
- Technical Mathematics / Econometrics
- Operations Management or Business Administration (with analytical focus)
You have strong analytical skills and get energy from puzzling, calculating and advising;
You are available immediately or within two months to start your graduate internship.

Nice-to-have

You have gained experience through side activities (boards, committees, volunteering).
You have (side) job experience in consultancy, supply chain, operations or logistics.
